In February 2020 we gathered for the first Colheta, the ni community harvest. It was moving to see our joint dedication beginning to bear fruit, or rather, cotton fibre. Such a special moment needed to be shared and lived by more people, so the Neve Insular collective and AAPCM invite people from the community of the Madeiral and Calhau valley, from the city of Mindelo and everyone who happens to be on the island of São Vicente to join us, harvest what the soil has given us and, of course, sit down to enjoy a shared snack.
This is one of the ways ni finds to connect with people and with the place, taking time to be, to perceive and to live nature, even if only for a short while.
